September 2009 - Anmar-BRS has just successfully completed the rebuild of Amplats Waterval Smelter‘s Slag cleaning furnace no 1 at Rustenburg, on schedule.

The project was safely completed in the allocated time of 35 days,( 80616 injury free man-hours, working a 24/7shift operation), as per the contract.

The combined forces of Anmar Mechanical Canada and the South African arms, Anmar –BRS Africa(Pty) Ltd and Anmar-BRS Furnace Group (Pty) Ltd (Project Management, Demolition, Mechanical and Refractories) worked well to achieve the combined end result.
